Meet the Doctors
Dr. Mark Brusveen is founder and Director of Brusveen Chiropractic as he established the practice on Robbins Rd in 1980. Since then he has developed the most complete Chiropractic office in the Tri-Cities. His extensive patient care expertise is one of a kind for the area.
When looking for a Doctor of Chiropractic the patient should look for experience and up to date facility and equipment, along with an experienced staff; all offered here at Brusveen Chiropractic.
The experience factor alone brings many new patients to "Dr. B" for his most thorough holistic Chiropractic approach.
Over the past thirty years Dr. B and Susan Brusveen have raised three sons, been involved in several local groups, churches and organizations.
Presently Dr. B is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, the christian chiropractic Association and nationally in the ACA.
Along with his expertise and thousand of cases, Dr. B has had hours of extra training in sports injuries, auto related skeletal/spinal injuries, radiology, rehabilitation exercises, nutritional syndromes and treatments, cold laster therapy and spinal decompression injury and treatment.
Dr. Kellen Brusveen is a second generation chiropractor who has had the privilege of being under Chiropractic care since birth. He has personally received numerous health benefits through Chiropractic and looks to help others enjoy health through Chiropractic.
As a graduate of Grand Haven High I choose Western Michigan University where I played four years of college lacrosse and majored in Bio-medical science with a minor in Chemistry. Upon graduation I started Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and foremost school of Chiropractic in the nation. In five academic years at Palmer college I studied courses in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, philosophy, radiology, pediatrics, geriatrics, nutrition, chiropractic business, etc with a special emphasis on the human nervous system.
I also have taken over 300 credit hours towards my Diplomate in Neurology as I am currently working on getting both my Diplomate and Masters in Neurology. This program has given me the distinct advantage when looking at specific neurological cases such as tremors, dystonias, Multiple Sclerosis, ADHD and ADD, stroke recovery patients, vertigo, etc as every health issue has many neurological elements to them.
"The beauty of chiropractic is that we are the only doctors that can directly affect the human nervous system through the adjustment; thus allowing the nervous system to function at an optimal level."
Dr. Brusveen uses a "whole person approach". This approach to health means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Brusveen is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
